OCTOBER CONCERT
“ALL THAT JAZZ”
We are excited to present our latest concert, a
medley of jazz and swing favourites including:
Me and My Shadow, Summertime, Blue
Skies,Cry Me a River, I Got Rhythm, Feeling
Good, Fever and Ain’t Misbehaving.
From the comfort of their candelit tables, guests
will enjoy the Society’s perormance
accompanied by professional jazz mucisians.
We wil be performing at two venues:
Ripon Spa Hotel - 10th & 11th October
(tickets £10)
North Stainley Village Hall - 12th October
(tickets £8)

BREAKING NEWS - SOCIETY NOMINATED FOR A RECORD 26 AWARDS
AT THE WHARFEDALE FESTIVAL OF THEATRE 2013
RAOS and RYT have been nominated for an incredible 26 wards for their respective productions of
Follies and Joseph at Yorkshire theatre groups’ answer to the Oscars.
Representatives for both groups will attend the awards ceremony on 6th July and we will be reporting
our achievements very soon.
Nominations are as follows:
Follies: Best Director, Best Musical Director, Best Choreorgrapher, Best Stage Presentation, Best Actor ,
Best Actress, (x2) Best Supporting Actor (x2), Best Supporting Actress (x3), Best Cameo Performance,
Best Musical, Best Programme
